Chapter 3: Directional Aaronometry

If you had trouble with Pictoral Mathematics, you might as well just quit now because Directional Aaronometry will pwn your brain.

Lesson I: Compass Tulip

The name Compass Rose was already taken, so Aaronometrists around the world adopted the Compass Tulip.

Much of the Compass Tulip is based on logic. For example, -W = E. However, some things you are going to have to get used to, such as N-E = NE. It would make more sense if N+E=NE, but it is not.

Lesson II: Directional Aaronometry vs. Pictoral Mathematics

What happens when you add a direction to a face?

Well, when you add any direction to a SAD face, you get a face with the mouth pointing in the said direction. For example:

When you add a direction to a HAPPY face, the same thing occurs, only with a hat.

When you solve, the value of the hat is added to the value of the face. Let's try.

EXERCISE 3.2 - Directional Aaronometry

STEP 1: Solve the directional face.
(-1/2) + (-200,000,000,000) STEP 2: Insert the integers.
-200,000,000,000.5 It's so easy!!!!

Now what if we were given:

+

STEP 1: We know it essentially means this.
(-1/2) + (-200,000,000,000) + STEP 2: Insert the integers.
STEP 3: Because the value of a hat depends on the answer (n), we must first solve the section where we already have numbers. (see above)
n = -200,000,000,000.5 STEP 4: Now that we have n, we can add the hat.
(-200,000,000,000.5) / 2 STEP 5: Write out the problem.
-100,000,000,000.25 STEP 6: Solve for the value of the hat.
STEP 7: Now that we have n, write in hat form.
(-200,000,000,000.5) + (-100,000,000,000.25) STEP 8: Solve.
-300,000,000,000.75 It's so simple I need a pancake!

Well that's all for the easy part. The next lesson will move extremely fast. This is only recommended for people of strong strength and religion. (People who are strongly atheist can come too.)

Lesson III: The Given Table

Aaronometrist Olanjuwan Okeke developed the Given Table in November 2006.

Factor > Factor Quotient
N - 200,000,000,001.6
N - -199,999,999,998.6
NW -

N -

NW -

N -

NE - 200,000,000,001.6
NE - -199,999,999,998.6
E - 200.43333
E - -199.7666
SE - 200.43333
SE - -199.7666

Now we have left out some of Okeke's findings: specifically SW, S, and W. This is why:

You are not quite advanced yet, and right now, you don't want to be.
